‘Youghall Abbey, County Cork, Ireland’ from The Scenery and Antiquities of Ireland (Vol. II), drawn by W.H. Bartlett and engraved by E.J. Roberts. The North Abbey was founded in the thirteenth-century beyond the walls of medieval Youghal. Little of the building survived through the centuries. Visible in this drawing of c. 1841 is the west gable of the church with a three-light window.
